Fasting a.m. BS = 124!!! I feel like a success overnight. I was beginning to think I dreamed those low numbers from several weeks ago! Weight = 171.3. I am so ready to be in the 160s! While the sciatic nerve was attacking me, I was retaining fluid and couldn't seem to budge that weight and that glucose. There are 39 days until our cruise. I want to weigh 161 by then. That means I need to lose 2 lbs a week! yikes! Can I do it? That means I have to get through the week ends as if they don't exist, because week ends always send me back up a few lbs, that don't disappear until the next weekend! Roller coaster! I will do it one day at a time!
Update: Worked 4 hours at library today, with 8 kids, 1st-3rd graders, at my STEM class. I made the activity as simple as possible, but most needed one-on-one help. Sorted 3 boxes of donated books -- kept 5 books. Two hour Library Board meeting. I came home after 8:00 flat out tired. Glucose had dropped to 109 so I loaded up some fat/protein energy with fat bomb, cheese, hot green tea. Beginning to unwind again. Totals today: 1376 calories; macros 74/7/19; net carbs 15.35.
