so happy with the scan. was pretty much what I thought was going to happen 👍 put on 1.3% body fat👌which is right where I wanted it to be. visceral fat still 1👌 the only surprise here which is a big one. my increased hiking in prep for Mt Kinabalu has actually stripped muscle off my legs hahahaha. means I will have to do a second leg day in the gym going forward.... yay lol put on muscle in both arms and my core but lost muscle in my legs. the only thing that has changed in my routine is increased hiking. so on a whole my SMM (muscle mass) has been constant.

so close to my goal of single digit body fat and clinically overweight on the BMI... next time for sure. BMI is so rubbish and should be removed from history hahahaha. it's a joke

Great Effort and thanks for posting. Interesting set of results muscle especially, given your diet. I will be piggy backing of your macros for my bulk I reckon will limit carbs to about 150g though and lift heavy.

These 4 weeks where all about maintenance and bringing the body fat% back up slowly. I couldn't be happier. Will keep doing what I'm doing for another 8 weeks and see the results before deciding what will happen after that. Think once I hit the 10-11% I will cut back to 6-7 again and keep that cycle going. Bulking interests me as well but I think I have got a taste for climbing big mountains hahahaha and bulking does not go hand in hand with hiking

True, I remember when I was looking to buy an ultra-light bike and a friend said it would be cheaper to lose weight first. Bulking does not go hand in hand with gravity related sports such as mountain climbing and trail riding.

It's true, I would love to have a crack at bulking one day though to see how successful I could do it

It's a crazy shock to me, I thought legs where going to be only place i put muscle on hahahaha

If I maintained the muscles in my legs I would have been 100% on the money with these results.. not to worry it's a learning curve. Have another scan in 8 weeks. Hopefully the body fat will be about 10% and I get alittle bit of muscle growth. I expect to keep my visceral fat at 1 though.

Cool to see those results. I'm sure something very similar happened to me. It explains why I was hovering around the same weight while getting visibly leaner once I stopped running so much. I regained muscular size all over while losing fat.
