went to a couple gyms today and one was a little shakey and I did not feel comfortable there, limited machines too. So I went to the other one and ended up getting a one month to try it out. I need to safely work on my legs in a slow manner and I found a few machines that I can use safely and one machine that I ended up hurting myself on. Heating pad tonight! I want to work my bum and the glute machine I think it, is works fine for me. The stepper did not turn on so I don't know if that will help and some kind of standing pedal with arm thing seems to be something that may help. I was too worn out from my morning work out and then working on the heavier machines to do much other than just play with it for a minute. More of a cardio, but it may work. the leg press works on my legs well but doesn't seem to hit my goal area. but they all will help me with my squats I am guessing. building up my legs. I held on to the bar on the lift station, the place was empty and did a couple series of squats. Hell that I need help to do this but with the mirror right there I could check my form too.

Onward to getting back my muscles in my lower body too! bikini season is almost over! But I will be ready next season. LOL!

Funny thing I learned, while I am working with heavy resistance weights, 60 per arm, when it comes to lifting a little hand weight, I had to go down to the 12.5 pound weight the 15 was a bit heavy for me. I just wanted to check it out, I did not really work on it. So if I decide to work with them I will have to start from scratch.

I tried a leg lift too to get the back muscle on my leg. that is going to be a challenge too.

The number one reason I have a gym membership is that it is the only way for me to safely do squats. They have a huge metal frame that has a bar that slides up and down and prevents me from falling over with 120lbs on my shoulders... :)

I did not see that machine or frame mine the bar would be free in my arms if I attempted to lift it. but I did not investigate all the machines. I asked the guy that signed me up to show me 3 or 4 machines he thought would work for my butt. I will have to look for that one when I am ready to play with weights on the squat. I am no where near being ready for weight. I tweeked my knee again this morning at home when I had to get down to work on a fish tank and that was the final straw for me. out I went this afternoon to find a solution.

Awesome! Congrats on the gym membership and workin on the booty 😜 I’ve been doing the same. Too jiggly lol I like going to the gym. So many different things to try out

If I decide to work with the hand weights I will see what I can handle. I have to be careful as my back goes out very easily if I don't have back support. The good thing is it is easy to raise the weight after a productive week of any new exercise when it is started at the lower levels.

thanks Crash, glad you are enjoying the gym, I am not a big fan of being around people when I have to work on problem area's, but it is nice I can go when there is not a crowd.
