So, I've always stated the reason I don't record my weight on here more than once a week is because I know weight fluctuates daily, depending on water and poo retention, among other factors. Well, today, I just proved that fact to myself. I had eaten way too many tortilla chips with my homemade jalepeno dip yesterday, so I was retaining water when I weighed myself this morning (after a good poo) and was up 2.2 pounds from yesterday morning. So I set to drinking plenty to purge my system of the salt. I was constantly in the bathroom lol. I weighed myself periodically throughout the day and watched the scale come down ounce by ounce. I wasn't really fasting, but I didn't eat much throughout the day. I was actually shocked myself at the last weight before consuming supper. I was down to an even 135, 4 ounces less than the last three days, over 2 pounds less than this morning. It's just proof how much water factors in to our weight.
