*sigh* So, I still haven't started my diet yet. I really want to, but I just don't know how to start. It really has started to depress me, because people are now starting to tell me I'm fat in secret, subtle ways. For instance, this girl at work told me i'm a girl who "eats well." Thanks. I just don't have the motivation anymore to lose weight. I'm so busy with school and work (I don't really get breaks at work and they don't let me eat at the hostess stand) so when I get off instead of coming home to a nice salad I go to Wendy's or Taco Bell, or even get to-go from work!! ( I work at a Cracker Barrel---enough said.) I just don't know what to do anymore :-(. Any suggestions on how to fit eating healthy into my busy schedule??

I have a friend who owns her own restaurant and she is the head CHEF and she still managed to lose 40lbs! And this is a woman that TASTES everything that is created in her kitchen I think the key is that you have to plan ahead. It requires you to put some time and energy into it. It is never going to "just happen". I am on Atkins and I am completely addicted to the Wendy's BLT salad. I just skip the croutons and add my own dressing. Planning ahead means carrying your own salad dressing, or making sure that you pack healthy snacks with you - for me that means I always have something like nuts, celery, cheese sticks or Atkins protein bars in my purse. When I was in college, I lost a lot of weight and I was just as busy as you are - so I can relate. What saved me was having LOTS of microwavable Lean Quisines or WW Smart Ones in the freezer. I MADE myself go to the grocery store every Sunday night (usually at about 1am when I got off work) and planned for the week. It took me about two hours, but it helped me be successful through the week. I only wish I would have kept up that schedule after I graduated!!! I wouldn't be in the same boat, so to speak!!!! At a fast food rest. i order the chicken(mostly)/burger of choice and a side salad- usually 1 DOLLAR!! i throw out the bun though! toss the chicken into your salad and its just as good! GOOD LUCK
