I’m tossing around the idea to stop tracking my food for a week or two to see if I can maintain (better yet continue to lose) without logging everything I eat. This is a way of life for me going forward and I don’t want to have to rely on logging daily but actually living this way naturally making the right choices. I’ve never been a big eater so portions are not my issue, it’s just the carbs and sugars which I believe I’ve finally gotten ahold of. I would be interested to hear from you all if you’ve done this yet and your challenges and/or successes. Thanks!

When I was in Omada, that was something we did everyday along with weighing in and logging our water and activity! Eventually I started feeling overwhelmed by it all and I stopped except for weighing myself on a daily basis which I still do now that I’ve rotated out from Omada! I use my weight as a tool to help me now! I have never been too good at journaling! I find it tedious, especially when it comes to entering recipes! Eating healthy is also a lifestyle for me, and every once in awhile I’ll have a cheat meal! I like to call it my 90/10 rule! It helps me to stay on track, and when I allow myself that 10%, I’m right back to my healthy foods!

I did think about stop tracking my food recently after read some articles and video about portion control by hands and a trick about couting calories with points for every 100kkal. Remember every 1 serving meal is a must. I am still progressing to lose weight, tracking calories keep me on track and I am on my phone, too.. maybe I will keep it that way for now. Thank you all for your great advices!
