Today was day 1 of my medication Gleevec. The hardest part was having to have a "full meal" and to drink 8 oz of water with the pill. I know that sounds like a strange complaint, but I don't normally have a full meal at breakfast. More like 1/2 cup cottage cheese and cheerios lol. Oh well, it is what it is and I don't have a choice. Need to take this med to try and shrink my alien enough to make surgery easier. Know what the scariest potential side effect is: sudden unexplained weight gain. I'm probably going to walk around with the scale attached to me.
